Avant de créer le Groupe FLAMA BARRANQUILLA, il a fait partie de plusieurs formations comme : Soukous Stars, Lokassa Ya Mbongo, Loketo, Kanda Bongo Man, Aurlus Mabele, Diblo Dibala, Dalli Kimoko ... Et beaucoup d'autres.. Il est considéré comme le meilleur bassiste du Congo Brazzaville et il a joué avec éclat aux côtés des meilleurs représentants de la musique africaine.
_ Rémy Sahlomon est aussi producteur et président de plusieurs associations, Fondations... Ses chansons les plus connues sont :- HAPPY BIRTHAY (qui a été numéro un au Zimbabwe pendant deux années consécutives dans les premières places)- SARAH est non seulement un succès international, mais aussi l'une des chansons les plus reprises en musique africaine,- ROKIATOU est un titre qui reste d'actualité en Afrique, Amérique Latine - RAMA ainsi que plusieurs de ses chansons se dansent toujours bien et s'adaptant à toutes les modes musicales. Ses albums sont enregistrés dans différentes versions et langues au cours. Rémy Sahlomon est l'un des artistes les plus représentatifs de la musique africaine, mais aussi le plus discret et le plus humble. C'est sur scène qu'il faut le voir...
